What is self or personal storage?
Self storage as the name suggests, allows customers, business or personal to rent a storage room in which to keep their possessions. Extra Space provides a number of room sizes that can be rented for short or long term periods. You simply book a room, have your items brought down, store them away and lock up. Then whenever you need to access them you can, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How to reach the Extra Space Office?
Take the Al Manara Road Exit from Sheikh Zayed Road towards Al Quoz to the Traffic Lights (Home Centre Warehouse will be in front of you. Take a left turn at the lights and then immediate first right until you reach the T Junction at 18th Street. Take a left and proceed straight and UPS will be on your left, Grand Woodworks is next to UPS take a left turn into the complex beside Grand Woodworks and proceed to Warehouse 6.
What are some useful tips on how to store my items?
Do I need insurance?
Yes, anything stored within an Extra Space Storage Unit needs to be covered by insurance. Insurance is quoted separately based on the nature and value of goods stored on a periodic basis the value of goods is then notated with our insurance underwriter.
What can’t I store?
Can I store my belongings in more than one room?
Yes, we are designed for this, if you require multiple rooms we can arrange that for you and have them keyed alike.
What do I need to book a space?
How secure are my belongings?
Very secure. We have trained Security Guards on site 24/7. We also have trained staff on hand during office hours, CCTV, and separate alarm systems on your individual Storage Unit. Access to your room is by own individual pin code.
